I must admit that I didn't know what an API was before last week and I still didn't get it until someone properly explained it to me. API stands for Application Programming Interface and most businesses have a few API's on their website. I'm not going to go into a technical explanation of what an API is as I would probably fail.

One of the main providers of API management are Apigee, now owned by Google. Apigee have partnered with Google Cloud on their "I love API's" world tour 2018.
